Watson Young Architects led the masterplan for St John XXIII Catholic College, supporting the school’s growth from Kindergarten to Year 12.
Stage 1 delivered refurbished staff offices, hospitality and food technology spaces, and a new Biomechanics & Gym Hub, which received the 2026 LEA(D) Award for Small Projects Under $2 Million.
Stage 2 introduced a 3,400sqm Inquiry Hub connected to the existing campus via a first floor bridge. The facility includes learning commons, seminar rooms, wet labs, maker spaces and a 250-seat presentation space, creating a contemporary learning environment that supports collaboration, innovation and flexibility.
