Watson Young Architects delivered a series of interior upgrades for St John XXIII Catholic College, supporting contemporary and flexible learning across the campus.
Stage 1 included the refurbishment of staff offices, hospitality and food technology spaces, alongside a new Biomechanics & Gym Hub designed to support student wellbeing, movement and collaboration. The project was later recognised at the 2026 LEA(D) Awards, receiving the Category 7 Award for Small Projects Under $2 Million.
Stage 2 introduced a 3,400sqm Inquiry Hub featuring learning commons, wet labs, maker spaces, seminar rooms and multimedia facilities connected through open, collaborative learning environments.
