Quiroga Hall

The existing sports hall building was expanded to provide another multi-purpose sport hall of the same size, with bleachers for sporting and school assembly events and new gym facilities.

The building was required to house a new music precinct featuring a 356-seat two-storey auditorium, five large and nine small music teaching and rehearsal spaces. A new food technology area was developed with two fully equipped kitchen classrooms and four additional multi-purpose classrooms.

Acoustic separation of the various functions within the large building was a major factor in the design solution.
