Watson Young Architects delivered the Stage 3 specialist facility at Hume Anglican Grammar, comprising a new Resource Library Centre, Visual Arts spaces and STEM facilities, all anchored by a central ‘Imaginarium’ that connects the full suite of learning environments. The design also incorporates flexible collaboration zones to enable a future Stephanie Alexander Kitchen linked to an external garden.
The project was delivered under the Victorian Independent Schools Block Grant Authority funding framework. Now complete, the facility provides a bright, engaging and highly functional learning hub. Natural light, warm materiality and generous circulation spaces support a sense of openness, while purpose-built zones enhance creativity, hands-on learning and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
